The Saltanah Arabic Band may include some traditional instruments, but may also include Arabic keyboards, electric guitar, electric bass, drum kit, etc.

This group can vary from 1 to 8 musicians, to suit the occasion.

Styles of music performed include Tarab, Egyptian dance music, Dabke music of the Levant (Lebanon / Jordan / Syria), Moroccan Shaabi music, and Rai, the modern music of North Africa.

Our Arabic band plays for private events like weddings, fiance parties, graduation celebrations, and cultural events.

The Saltanah Middle Eastern Ensemble includes instruments such as qanun (Middle Eastern zither), oud (lute), ney (bamboo end-blown flute), violin, upright bass and percussion instruments such as riq (Arabic tambourine), darbuka (goblet-shaped drum) and def (frame drum).

The Saltanah Ensemble performs mostly Arabic music, including classical, popular and folkloric music from countries such as Egypt, Lebanon, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Morocco and Algeria.  They can also play music from other traditions such as Turkish, Persian and Armenian, upon request.

Size of the group can vary from 2 to 8 musicians, depending on the occasion and the budget of the event.
