Named after our mascot, the "Darbuka Dawg Hafla" features a live band, great dancers, wonderful Lebanese food and open dancing for all.  This is a monthly event held at the New Deal Cafe, Greenbelt MD every 3rd Sunday of the month. $10 cover charge.

Join us for an afternoon of live Middle Eastern music, dance, and tasty treats at the New Deal Cafe in Greenbelt, Maryland. Laying down the tunes will be Kylie Hilali, Ken Wright, Marrakesh and Sidqi, playing extraordinarily exotic instruments such as qanun, oud, riq, and darbuka.

This month's dancers include Shems, and other wonderful dancers, and there will be open dancing in between our scheduled performers so dancers - bring your shimmy!
